Chelsea set to sign French yougngster Ekwah Elimby

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal to sign FC Nantes youngster Ekwah Elimby, according to Ouest France.

The French-based reports claim that youngster will join the Premier League side and is likely to slot into the academy structure.

The report claims that the youngster flew into London last weekend to put the final touches on the deal.

A €2 million fee has been agreed with the French side, with Elimby becoming the latest younger to agree a deal to join Chelsea.

Nantes have become known for producing young talent and face the prospect of losing fellow youngster Batista Mendy to Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Elimby follows the likes of Ian Maatsen and Jayden Braaf, who are both set to join from Dutch side PSV.

The young defender is a French youth international and has represented his country 13 times at U-16 level.

The trio’s arrivals will continue Chelsea’s insistence to scoop up the best young talent around Europe.
