Chelsea schedule meeting to resolve Morata’s future

Chelsea will meet with Alvaro Morata’s agent next week to resolve the striker’s future at Stamford Bridge.

According to David Amoyal, the player would like to leave Chelsea this summer after struggling during his first season in London.

Chelsea are reportedly demanding around £60-70 million for the player who is being linked with moves to Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.

The Spaniard has seen his long-term future at Chelsea questioned after he fell out of favour during the second half of the season.

January signing Olivier Giroud became Chelsea’s number one striker and impressed after joining from Arsenal.

The Blues are now being linked with yet more big-money moves for strikers, including Gonzalo Higuain, who worked with Maurizio Sarri at Napoli.

There have been claims that Morata could return to Juventus, which would pave the way for the Argentinian forward to complete a move in the opposite direction.
