Derby unsure on Palmer deal as club sanction loan exit

Chelsea are set to allow young midfielder Kasey Palmer to leave the club on loan this summer.

According to The Mirror, however, Derby are unsure on whether they want to bring Palmer back to the IPro next season.

The report claims that Derby boss Frank Lampard has not yet made a decision on the transfer.

Norwich have reportedly made an offer to Chelsea to take the youngster on loan, as they look to add more creativity to their side.

Palmer spent the second half of last season on loan to Derby after his deal with Huddersfield in the Premier League was cut short.

The report also claims that Chelsea will loan Palmer out and, that, Norwich’s chances of signing Palmer have been boosted.

Chelsea will want Palmer to have regular game time in the Championship, which could leave Norwich as the ideal option for all parties.
