Chelsea are reportedly preparing a new contract for N’Golo Kante in a bid to ward off interest from Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
Calcio Mercato, who cite claims from Paris United, reports that Chelsea are hoping that they can do enough to keep the player at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer.
Paris Saint-Germain have previously expressed an interest in bringing the player to France.
The Ligue 1 champions have been looking to take advantage of Chelsea’s lack of Champions League football.
Chelsea have reportedly offered the player a wage similar to what the French side were prepared to pay, which was believed to be over £200,000 a week.
Kante has become a key figure in the Chelsea squad since his move from Leicester and the Frenchman has also been impressing in the World Cup this summer.

There had been suggestions that Chelsea could struggle to keep hold of the player after his performances in Russia, but that does not appear to be the case.
