Chelsea’s hopes of landing Eden Hazard have been boosted with the news that Barcelona believe a move for the Belgian would be too expensive.
Mundo Deportivo have poured doubts over a move to the Nou Camp, despite previous reports suggesting talks had already taken place.
The report claims that the acquisition of Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool means that any move for Hazard is not feasible.
The Brazilian swapped Anfield for the Nou Camp in a £142 million move back in January.
Barcelona have kept tabs on Hazard for some time and remain admirers of the player.

Interest is expected to mount in Hazard’s services this summer. Real Madrid could consider the player as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who has joined Juventus.
Reports have suggested that Maurizio Sarri wants to keep both Hazard and Willian at the club beyond the summer, with both players being linked with moves away.
Willian is also believed to be a target for Barcelona, with the Catalan side having an opening bid rejected.
