Sarri joins the club on an initial two-year deal following his departure from Napoli, with the option of an additional year built into the contract.

The 59-year-old left Naples after coming close to guiding the Serie A outfit to the Scudetto, only to miss out narrowly to Juventus at the final hurdle.
Whilst in charge of Napoli he earned plenty of plaudits for their style of play last season, something that prompted Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola to hail them as his ‘favourite team in Europe’.
Sarri replaces Antonio Conte, who left the club as relationships with the players and staff behind the scenes became strained.
Conte had been heavily linked with a summer exit from Stamford Bridge after publicly criticising the club’s transfer policy, with an FA Cup victory not enough to keep him in the job.
The former Napoli boss was one of the front-runners for the job from the get-go with the Blues looking to implement a more attacking style of play next season.
