Inter Milan are ready to accelerate their pursuit of Chelsea wing-back Davide Zappacosta, according to new reports from Italy.
Luciano Spalletti’s side have been linked with a move for the Blues wide player for some time now and it seems they will press ahead with their efforts to sign him in the immediate future.
Zappacosta has been linked with a return to his homeland of Italy for weeks now and it seems, with Inter out to sign a right-back, he is a top target for the Serie A giants.
Inter have also been linked with moves for Matteo Darmian and Sime Vrsaljko, but Zappacosta appears to be a player who they have admired for a long period of time.
Maurizio Sarri has today been confirmed as the new Chelsea boss and he could be keen to assess the options at his disposal, including Zappacosta, before he makes a decision on players’ respective futures at Stamford Bridge.
