Chelsea reportedly consider re-signing Petr Cech
Chelsea are considering a shock swoop for former goalkeeper Petr Cech this summer, with his future at Arsenal unclear.
The Blues are facing the prospect of Thibaut Courtois’ departure to Real Madrid this summer and according to claims from Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol this evening, Cech is an option that the club are exploring.

Cech left Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2015 following Courtois’ return from his loan spell at Atletico Madrid. The experienced goalkeeper joined Arsenal in a deal believed to be worth £10 million.
According to fresh claims from Solhekol, though, a surprise return could yet be on the cards, with Chelsea weighing up their goalkeeping options this summer.
Cech is set to play second fiddle at the Emirates in the upcoming season, with Arsenal having completed the signing of German international Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.
Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel is also listed as a player who Chelsea retain an interest in.
