Mason Mount pictured at Derby as he closes in on loan move

Mason Mount’s loan move to Derby County appears to be close to completion after being pictured alongside Frank Lampard.

Pictures have emerged online with Mount holding up the Derby kit with the manager.

Mount has been heavily linked with a move to Derby following Lampard’s arrival.

Derby are known to be working on a smaller budget and Mount will add some youthfulness to an experienced squad.

The England youth international impressed at Vitesse in the Eredivisie last season and now looks set to experience first-team football in the second tier.

Mount is a player that both Lampard and Jody Morris will know well having worked so closely within the academy structure at Chelsea.

All that appears to be holding the move up is merely official confirmation from both sides.
