Chelsea consider Neto move as alternative transfer target
Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Valencia goalkeeper Neto, as they expand their search for a new goalkeeper this summer.
Italian broadcaster Gianluigi Longari reports that Neto is not a first-choice transfer target for the Blues, but he is under consideration for the Premier League side.
Longari stresses that a move for Neto is not a priority, but he is likely to be considered as an option.
The Brazilian was linked with moves to Napoli during Maurizio Sarri’s time there, with the new Chelsea boss said to be a fan of the player.
Thibaut Courtois is reportedly closing in on a move to Real Madrid, leaving Chelsea in need of a replacement.
Liverpool are set to beat Chelsea to the signature of Alisson from Roma, with the Reds stealing the march on the Blues after agreeing to meet the Italian’s asking price.
The likes of Kasper Schmeichel, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Petr Cech have all been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.
