Willian is reportedly closing in on a move to Barcelona with Philippe Coutinho convincing him to move to the Nou Camp.
Spanish outlet Sport report that Willian is close to completing a move away from Stamford Bridge after expressing his desire to leave the club.
Coutinho has reportedly played a key role in the deal to take the player to La Liga.
The duo were said to discuss the move during their time with the Brazilian national squad in Russia at this summer’s World Cup.
There had been concerns about the number of non-Eu players the Catalan side had in their squad, but Coutinho is close to securing a Portuguese passport, that will also free up a spot in the side.
With Willian due to turn 30 in the coming weeks, Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell the player, providing their asking price is met by the La Liga champions.
