Chelsea could complete Rugani deal today or early next week

Chelsea could complete a deal to sign Daniele Rugani from Juventus today, or early next week, according to reports in Italy.

Calciomercato reports that the two clubs are yet to agree a fee for the defender, despite talks in Italy today.

The Blues are set to hold more talks with the player’s agent today, with Fali Ramadani expected in Germany later today.

Chelsea are believed to have offered Juventus a fee in the region of €40 million, but Juventus are holding out for closer to €50 million.

The defender has agreed personal terms with Chelsea and is set to pocket around €4 million a year in London.

Maurizio Sarri reportedly wants the deal to be done in time for the defender to join up with the rest of the squad in Australia, but with Chelsea due to face Perth Glory in the early hours of Monday morning, the deal may not be in done in time.
