Monaco are reportedly confident about their chances of beating the likes of Chelsea, Juventus, and Barcelona to Aleksandr Golovin.
According to French outlet Le10 Sport, the Ligue 1 side have offered €35 million for the player.
CSKA Moscow were said to be asking for €30 million, which would boost Monaco’s chances of winning the race to sign him.
The player was said to be close to joining Chelsea on a five-year deal after impressing at the World Cup.
CSKA’s club president has recently confirmed that a deal has not been agreed, but the player is set to leave.
Golovin is widely seen as one of the best talents to come out of Russia in recent years and interest is mounting in the player.
Maurizio Sarri is keen to bring the player to London, however, Barcelona are also thought to have a bid on the table for the attacking midfielder.
The Catalan side were said to be offering €30 million for the player.
