The representatives of Eden Hazard will meet with Real Madrid on Saturday to discuss a possible transfer for the Belgian star, according to Sky Italy’s Gianluca Di Marzio.
Hazard will be represented by his legal team and his father as they look into the possibility of securing a big money move to the reigning European champions.
After allowing Cristiano Ronaldo to join Juventus, Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to provide Julen Lopetegui with a suitable replacement and Hazard is seemingly the man they want to bring in.
Di Marzio reports that Madrid would be looking to pay around €125m for the 27-year-old and that the deal would be completely separate from the move that could see Thibaut Courtois also make a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Hazard’s comments after the World Cup, where he admitted that he could be looking to leave Chelsea this summer, will come as a worry to Chelsea fans, although the club will be under no pressure to let him leave as he is under contract until 2020.
