Kylian Mbappe admits that he’s tried convincing N’Golo Kante to move to PSG

World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe has admitted that he is trying to convince N’Golo Kante to move to PSG from Chelsea and that he’s had discussions with PSG President Al Khelaifi about his French international teammate.

Kante and Mbappe were two of the leading forces behind France’s famous World Cup victory earlier this month and when players have success on the global stage, other clubs often become interested in them.

PSG are looking to improve in order to mount a serious challenge at winning the Champions League and see Kante as an ideal player to bring in to help them achieve their aim. Mbappe told France Football that he’s been trying to tempt the midfielder into a move from the capital of England to the capital of France.

He said:

It is true that [President Al Khelaifi] has consulted me. And I said to him once again that Kante would be good for our team. I spoke to N’Golo during the World Cup, but not extensive because I know that when you bombard the brain with transfer stuff… At the end, I left a few words in his pockets, that he would have discovered once he got home to properly send a message.

With interest in Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and now Kante, Chelsea fans will be hoping that the club remains strong and do not sell off their star players.
