Chelsea have been named as favourites to sign Real Madrid and Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.
The Independent reports that those close to the player believe he would like to join Chelsea over other potential suitors this summer.
The Blues are now said to be considering a move and could step up their interest if any rivals make an offer for the Serbian.
Milinkovic-Savic has been tipped to leave Lazio this summer after a standout season for the club in Serie A.
Compared to a young Paul Pogba, Milinkovic-Savic has earned plenty of admirers, with Real Madrid and Manchester United considering moves for the player.
Juventus have also been linked with the Serbian in the past after he found the back of the net on 12 different occasions in Serie A last season.
Chelsea may be put off by Lazio’s asking price, with the club valuing the player at close to £100 million.
