Daniele Rugani’s agent has confirmed that Chelsea have made an official offer to sign the player from Juventus.
Speaking to Radio Vecchia Signora, as reported by ESPN, Davide Torchia confirmed that Maurizio Sarri wants to bring the defender to London.
I can tell you the truth about Daniele. Sarri holds the player in very high esteem. Chelsea have put their support behind this transfer the manager is asking for, and they have made a pretty big offer, which Juventus are aware of.

Sarri worked with Rugani at Empoli and had previously tried to sign him at Napoli, but was unable to strike a deal with the Old Lady.
The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for the Italian, but are yet to agree a fee with Juventus.
Reports have suggested that Rugani has already a five-year contract with the London-based club.
Chelsea have sent officials to Italy this week with director Marina Granovskaia holding talks in Milan.
The Blues are also said to be interested in a deal for Mattia Caldara and could turn to the fellow Juventus defender if they are unable to agree a fee with Juventus.
