Chelsea target Gonzalo Higuain is reportedly keen to make the switch to the Premier League this summer.
The Argentina international has been lined up by AC Milan in this transfer window but it seems he could be set to snub their interest, as he seeks pastures new.
Following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juve, Higuain’s position in the starting line-up has come under threat. This could see him depart the Allianz Stadium, with Chelsea looking to land the forward.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is an admirer of Higuain and enjoyed a strong working relationship with the player during the pair’s tenure at Napoli.
According to La Stampa, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, Higuain’s preference is to test himself in a new league following his exploits in La Liga and, most recently, Serie A.
This news could mean that Chelsea are now in pole position to recruit the forward, with AC Milan now appearing to trail the Blues in the race for Higuain’s signature.
