Higuain not convinced by Milan loan offer

Gonzalo Higuain is said to be unconvinced about the prospect of joining Milan on loan from Juventus.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that following talks today between Milan and Nicolas Higuain, the player’s brother and agent, a deal is rumbling on with further talks scheduled.

Juventus had been hoping to send the player to the San Siro as part of the deal to re-sign Leonardo Bonucci.

Milan want to sign the player on loan with an option to buy to spread the cost of any deal, but Higuain is not convinced by the offer.

Gennaro Gattuso’s men were offering €20 million to take the player on loan with a further €35 million next summer.

There have been some contrasting reports that suggest that Higuain would be interested in the idea of moving to England, but would also prefer to stay in Italy.

With more talks scheduled between both parties, it appears that this is not the end of Milan’s interest.
