Loftus-Cheek could push foreign loan move this summer

Ruben Loftus-Cheek will look to join a foreign club on loan this summer if he does not feature regularly under Maurizio Sarri.

The Times reports that the England international is unlikely to be moved out on loan before the closing of the transfer window next week, meaning he will start the season at Stamford Bridge.

Loftus-Cheek will still be able to push for a move abroad until the end of August when the European windows close.

Should the England international fail to feature during the early stages of the Premier League season, he could be on the move once again this summer.

Crystal Palace have been heavily linked with a move for Loftus-Cheek throughout the summer, but it is believed Chelsea want to give him a chance in the first-team squad this season.

Loftus-Cheek impressed at Selhurst Park towards the end of last season and caught the eye for England at the World Cup in Russia.
