West Brom are reportedly very keen on welcoming Chelsea defender Ola Aina to the Hawthorns on a loan deal.
Peter O’Rourke of Football Insider claims that the Baggies are interested in acquiring the right back after their move for Yeovil’s Tom James collapsed at the medical stage.
Unlikely to be included in new boss Maurizio Sarri’s plans this year, Aina has been expected to secure a temporary deal elsewhere.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Hull City, making a hugely useful 44 appearances in the Championship.
A Nigerian international, Aina was also included in his nation’s preliminary World Cup squad, but did not make the final cut to take the roster to 23.
The full-back would join a West Brom team who have been active in the loan market, as Harvey Barnes’ arrival from Leicester accompanies links to Manchester City’s Tosin Adarabioyo.
