Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey has confirmed that teams are interested in signing him this summer.
According to a report by Kicker, as cited on Bleacher Report, Bailey confirmed there is ‘concrete interest’, with Chelsea being heavily linked with a move for the player.
Chelsea had been considering a move for the Jamaican-born winger should Willian leave the club before the transfer window closes.
Bailey has been one of the Bundesliga’s standout performers in recent seasons after impressing with Bayer Leverkusen.
He is a player that has been on Chelsea’s radar for some time, while the likes of Christian Pulisic and Anthony Martial have also been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge throughout the offseason.
It is yet to be seen if Chelsea will move for the player this summer, with it looking increasingly likely that Willian will remain in London, despite being linked with moves to Barcelona and Manchester United.
