Maurizio Sarri will speak with Chelsea officials this week about transfer targets, with the Blues hoping to beat Tottenham in the race to sign Wilfried Zaha.
According to the Daily Mail, club officials will speak with the new head coach about their targets for the remainder of the summer window which closes in on Thursday.
Chelsea have emerged as favourites to sign the Ivorian winger as Tottenham are unwilling to meet Palace’s asking price for the player.
It is yet to be seen whether or not Chelsea will meet Palace’s asking price, with the report claiming the Blues only want to offer £30 million plus players on loan.
Zaha has been heavily linked with a move away from Selhurst Park after a standout campaign for Palace last season.
The winger has rejected a contract offer from Palace already this summer and is believed to be angling for a move away.
Several clubs have expressed an interest in the player, who is believed to prefer a move to a London-based club.
