Kepa’s move to Chelsea appears to be edging closer with reports suggesting the Blues have already transferred the required €80 million to complete a deal.
Mundo Deportivo report that Chelsea sent lawyers to work on possible deals for both Kepa and Jan Oblak, but have pursued the former after being given the green light.
Official paperwork is now due to be signed tomorrow as Chelsea close in on their man.
Chelsea have reportedly sent the money for Kepa’s transfer fee to La Liga’s headquarters, according to the report.

A deal to sign Kepa from Athletic Bilbao will allow Thibaut Courtois to complete his long-anticipated move to Real Madrid, with Matteo Kovacic heading in the opposite direction on loan.
Courtois, who is believed to be in Tenerife, is currently on strike at Chelsea as he bids to complete a move to Real.
Jack Butland and Sergio Rico have also been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.
