Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to join AC Milan on a season-long loan, according to Simon Johnson of the Evening Standard.
With Mateo Kovacic set to arrive at Stamford Bridge on a loan from Real Madrid, Bakayoko has been deemed surplus to requirements by Chelsea, who will let him move to Italy on a temporary basis.
With Kovacic likely to feature alongside Jorginho and N’Golo Kante in Chelsea’s midfield, there is no real chance of Bakayoko getting regular game time,

Bakayoko arrived at Chelsea last summer but failed to impress in his debut season at the club, despite arriving with a big reputation after his £40m move from Monaco.
It looks like there’ll be a fair amount of change at Chelsea this summer with Danny Drinkwater and Thibaut Courtois also expected to move over the next couple of days as Maurizio Sarri looks to build a squad capable of competing at the top end of the Premier League table once again.
