AC Milan would like Chelsea to pay some of Tiemoue Bakayoko’s wages in order for him to join the club on loan.
According to reports from Sport Mediaset in Italy, the Serie A side are unable to match the salary that the Frenchman is currently earning in London.
The player’s agent has been in Milan for talks with the San Siro outfit, with a deal appearing to be close.
The Rossoneri will have the option to buy the player on a permanent basis for a fee in the region of €30-€35 million next summer.

Bakayoko is being tipped to leave the club on loan after a poor first season in London.
The French midfielder is also unlikely to feature on a regular basis under new head coach Maurizio Sarri.
The arrival of Jorginho, alongside Mateo Kovacic, who is set to join on loan from Real Madrid, means that game time is expected to be limited.
