Valencia have lodged a €3 million bid to sign Michy Batshuayi on loan from Chelsea.
According to reports from Spain, the player has spoken to new Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri about his future and is now set to leave on loan.
The player is keen to once again leave the club temporarily as he goes in search of regular game time, something that will not be guaranteed at Stamford Bridge.
Several clubs have been linked with a move for Batshuayi, including Sevilla, but Valencia now look set to win the race to sign the player.
It is being reported that Valencia will not have an option to buy the player permanently at the end of the deal.
The reports claim that the deal could be finalised over the weekend.
With Alvaro Morata once again being tipped to lead the line for Chelsea this season, Batshuayi faced a battle to win a regular starting berth.
