Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has spoken of his regret after missing out on a deal to sign Gonzalo Higuain this summer.
Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, as cited on the Daily Star, Sarri addressed the rumours linking the former Juventus striker with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Higuain? It’s a little regret but in the end everyone after the market has a few little regrets.

Both AC Milan and Chelsea were heavily linked with a move to sign the striker, but it was the former that sealed a deal.
Higuain joined the San Siro outfit when Leonardo Bonucci pushed for a return to Juventus just a year after joining the club.
The Argentinian international joins the Serie A side on loan with an option to buy next summer.
Higuain himself has already confirmed that Chelsea were interested in the player, but said interest only came from Sarri himself, not those behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge.
