Chelsea target Bailey signs new deal with Leverkusen

Chelsea target Leon Bailey has signed a new long-term contract with Bayer Leverkusen.

Leverkusen have confirmed that Bailey has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.

Chelsea were heavily linked to Bailey earlier in the summer, with the winger now committing his future to Leverkusen.

The 21-year-old scored 12 goals last season and has been linked to a number of big sides across Europe.

The forward signed for Leverkusen from Genk in 2016 after scoring 16 goals in two seasons for the Belgian side.

England are thought to be looking into his availability at international level, as he potentially qualifies through his parents.
