Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is settling into life in the Premier League “very well”, according to his agent Joao Santos.
The Italian international completed a big-money move to Chelsea this summer as he linked up with Maurizio Sarri following the pair’s successful stint at Serie A club Napoli.
He has since been heavily involved in Chelsea’s opening fixtures of the season, making starts against Huddersfield and Arsenal.
Jorginho has already established himself as an important part of Sarri’s plans for the Blues and has caught the eye with some composed displays. He netted his first goal for his new side in the 3-0 victory away at Huddersfield on Chelsea’s opening day of the season.
Speaking to Radio CRC, as cited by the Daily Mail, Jorginho’s agent Santos discussed his client’s start to life with Chelsea and was insistent that the midfielder is settling well.
Jorginho has started his adventure at Chelsea very well. He’s already integrated himself, plus he also speaks English well, so he’s not having any problems settling.
When a player is good, he can play in any league. Stereotypes matter little. If a player has quality, they can make the grade anywhere.
Jorginho is set to start for Chelsea once again when they face Newcastle United next weekend.
