Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is reportedly Aston Villa’s top target as they look to seal a loan move for a forward before the window slams shut at the end of August.
The Blues forward is wanted by a host of clubs on loan and is keen to secure first-team assurances ahead of the rest of the season.
Abraham’s short-term future at Chelsea appears to be in doubt, with Maurizio Sarri identifying experienced duo Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud as his primary striking options.

After enduring a mixed season on loan at Swansea City in the Premier League last term, Abraham looks set for another temporary spell away and has emerged as Villa’s number one target, according to Birmingham Live.
Villa boss Steve Bruce has also identified Southampton forward Shane Long as a potential loan signing. However, the manager is unsure over whether or not he’d be able to convince the player to drop down to the Championship for a season.
This could also be the case with Abraham, who previously enjoyed a spell in the second-tier of English football with Bristol City prior to his temporary move to Swansea.
