Chelsea are preparing to reject any offers made for full-back Marcos Alonso, with both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid interested in signing the Spaniard before the Spanish transfer window closes at the end of the month, the Daily Star reports.
Both Madrid clubs are willing to splash out around £27million on the 27-year-old, however Chelsea are not willing to listen to any offers with the English transfer window having already shut and the club having no opportunity to bring in a replacement should he leave.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri sees Alonso as a key feature in his plans this season, with the left-back having scored the winning goal in the 3-2 victory over Arsenal at the weekend.
Alonso still has three years left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge an the Blues are not willing to discuss any potential sale.
The left-back has so far played every minute of every game for Chelsea this season and looks unlikely to leave the club this summer, with Alonso believed to be happy with life in London.
The interest from both Madrid clubs in Alonso is said to be concrete but neither have made an official approach yet for the player.
