Chelsea have been told to convince Ruben Loftus-Cheek that he has a role to play in the first-team squad this season.
The Mirror reports that the midfielder remains unsure about his immediate future at the club, with a loan move still a serious possibility.
A move to La Liga has been suggested should the player fail to nail down a regular place in Maurizio Sarri’s squad.

Doubts were cast over the player’s role at Stamford Bridge when he was left out of the Chelsea squad to face Arsenal on Saturday night.
Loftus-Cheek was being tipped to break into the Chelsea squad this season, but with the emergence of Ross Barkley under Sarri, plus the arrival of Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid, it is hard to see where he fits in.
With Chelsea competing in Europe again this season, Sarri will need to make use of his entire squad, but the decision will be down to Loftus-Cheek to accept such a role.
