Chelsea defender David Luiz has revealed that he would have, most likely, left the club if Antonio Conte was still in charge.
Antonio Conte left the club earlier this summer, as he was replaced by ex-Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.
Luiz cut a frustrated figure at Chelsea last season, as he was left out of the team for the majority of the season.
The Brazil international reportedly fell out with Conte behind the scenes, leading to his absence from the matchday squads.

Speaking to The Evening Standard, Luiz said this:
If the manager had stayed the same, of course, everybody knows maybe I had to move clubs. Now I am here and so happy.
I think I always have to feel fresh start because I am getting old! It is amazing to play football, of course last season was not the best for me inside the pitch, but also I learned a lot outside the pitch as a person, as a man. It is always great to be on the pitch.
Since Sarri’s arrival at the club, Luiz has started all three Premier League games for the club.
