Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has shelved plans for talks over a new deal at the club until the end of the season.
Football London, who cite reports from Telefoot, claim that despite the striker being heavily linked with moves away from the club this summer, he is not rushing into any decision about his future.
I still have one year of contract, plus possibly another year. The management of the club was rather favourable to give it to me. I do not know yet, we will do the accounts in April-May, but I do not exclude any possibility. We’ll see.

Marseille were touted as a possible destination for the former Arsenal striker earlier this summer, but the player remained at Stamford Bridge.
It was unclear how regularly Giroud would be featuring for the Blues under Maurizio Sarri, but he now looks set to battle Alvaro Morata once again for the chance to lead the line.
Giroud’s deal at the club runs out at the end of the season, but his deal is believed to include the option of a further year with the Blues.
