Villa eye permanent move for Tammy Abraham

Aston Villa are already reportedly keen to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham on a permanent basis next summer.

The Birmingham Mail reports that the club will try to turn their loan deals for Yannick Bolasie, Abraham and Axel Tuanzebe into permanent moves.

Both Abraham and Everton’s Bolasie were surprising arrivals late in the summer window, joining from Chelsea and Everton respectively.

Villa may struggle to convince Chelsea to part with Abraham on a permanent basis, but should the striker enjoy a fruitful loan spell, he may want to push for a move.

Abraham has never hidden his intention to break through at Chelsea, so he may hold out to complete a permanent move away and fight for his place at Stamford Bridge.

The striker would have fancied his chances this summer, with Alvaro Morata misfiring in the early stages of the season, but he has dropped down to the Championship once again to find regular game time.
