Chelsea’s Ola Aina has been dealt an unfortunate injury setback, with the defender now looking likely to miss Torino’s clash with Udinese.
According to All Nigeria Soccer, who cite reports from Italy, Aina is being considered as doubtful for the Serie A clash this weekend.
After an impressive start to the season, Aina was forced to withdraw from the Nigeria squad because of an arm injury sustained against SPAL.
It had been hoped that Aina would be able to recover in time to face Udinese, with the aim of continuing his impressive start to life in Italy, however, that does not appear to be the case.
Aina started on the left of a back five for Walter Mazzarri and came in for big praise from the Italian boss.
The Nigerian international will be hoping to make a swift return to action in order to make the most of his time in Italy on loan.
