Inter ready to enter the race to sign Fabregas from Chelsea

Inter are reportedly ready to rival AC Milan in the race to sign Cesc Fabregas during the January transfer window.

The Express claims that the Italian side will reignite their interest in Spaniard after a failed move during the summer.

Fabregas was reportedly considered as a back-up plan to Luka Modric and the Serie A outfit turned their attention to the former Barcelona ace when it became clear that the Croatian would be staying with Real Madrid.

Chelsea refused to sell over the summer but Fabregas’ immediate future at the club has been thrown into doubt following a lack of game time.

Inter’s rivals, Milan have also been linked with a move for Fabregas in recent days and have been long-term admirers of the player.

It has been claimed that Chelsea could look to keep relations open with Milan, as the Blues themselves consider a move to sign Spanish international Suso.

The chance to sign Fabregas from the club may be something that could sweeten the deal.
