Juventus made offer for Chelsea target Chiesa

Juventus made an offer for Chelsea target, and Fiorentina winger, Federico Chiesa last month.

According to Calcio Mercato, via The BBC, Juventus offered €60m for the Italian international, who has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United this year.

Chiesa has been impressing for Fiorentina and Italy and Chelsea are thought to be considering a move for him in the future.

Juventus have already made their minds up and submitted a concrete bid over the summer.

Fiorentina rejected their offer, however, and Chiesa stayed in Florence – at least  until January.

The 20-year-old has scored one goal in two games this season, after scoring six in 38 last season.

He has already amassed 74 first-team appearances for Fiorentina and been capped seven times at international level by Italy, although he is yet to score for his country.

If Chelsea are serious about their interest in Chiesa, they will have to stave off  Juventus’ interest.
