Chelsea have been told that they’ll need to pay Adrien Rabiot wages in the region of €10 million a year to sign him, with Liverpool and Manchester City also interested.
Reports emerging from Italy claim that he has named his asking price amid suggestions he could leave PSG on a free transfer during the summer window.
Serie A duo Milan and Juventus are also ready to enter to enter the race to sign him, according to the report.
€10 million a year equates to around £170,000-a-week once converted into sterling.
Rabiot finds himself at an immediate advantage in negotiations given that he would be arriving on a free transfer.
With no fee involved, potential suitors have far greater room to manoeuvre in terms of wages.
Rabiot is free to speak to clubs from January onwards, with just months left to run on his deal with the Ligue 1 champions.
Interest in the French midfielder is mounting and PSG may now have to consider selling in January to avoid losing him for nothing.
