Barcelona are reportedly joining Paris Saint-Germain in the hunt to sign N’Golo Kante from Chelsea.
According to Calciomercato, who cite Sportmediaset, the La Liga champions are interested in signing the Frenchman and are ‘following’ him closely at Stamford Bridge.
Kante was heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer, with PSG ready to splash the cash to try and take him to France.
After playing a key role in France’s World Cup win, there was a desire for him to fill the void left in the PSG midfield.
However, Chelsea refused to sell and are now looking to tie him down to a long-term contract.
Kante has been influential in the Chelsea side since joining the club from Leicester, playing a key role in their title win under Antonio Conte.
Under Maurizio Sarri, Kante is being deployed in a slightly higher, more attacking position and his performances have been equally as impressive.
