Chelsea are reportedly set to be rivalled by Italian duo Juventus and Lazio in their pursuit of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The Wales international looks all but set to be headed for the exit door at the Emirates, according to the Mirror, after seeing a contract offer from Arsenal withdrawn.
Ramsey’s current deal in North London reaches its expiration date at the end of the season, leaving Arsenal with the choice of cashing in on their midfielder or allowing him to walk away for free next summer.
Chelsea appear to have sensed an opportunity to move for the enigmatic midfield player, with the Mirror indicating that they are keen on a deal.
However, their apparent pursuit of Ramsey will not be without opposition from elsewhere, with reports claiming that Serie A giants Juventus and Lazio are also keen.
Ramsey will certainly not be short of offers if he does indeed seek pastures new in the January transfer window and it seems Chelsea are willing to offer him a way out of Arsenal.
