Milan to try and land Fabregas in January window

Milan could look to seal a deal to sign Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas during the January transfer window.

Mundo Deportivo claims that Fabregas is one of Milan’s ‘goals’ for the winter market, with the Spaniard looking increasingly likely to move on from the club.

Reports emerged earlier this week that claimed the player was unhappy at the club after falling out of favour under Maurizio Sarri.

Fabregas started against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night and has been forced to settle for a back-up role, behind summer signing Jorginho.

The arrival of Mateo Kovacic, return of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and emergence of Ross Barkley means competition is fierce in midfield.

They claimed that Fabregas would not be agreeing to a new deal at the club and could leave for nothing in the summer.

Chelsea may now be forced into the decision of selling the player in January to avoid losing him for nothing.
