Fabregas putting plans in place to leave Chelsea

Cesc Fabregas is putting plans to place to secure a move away from Chelsea in case the club does not offer him a new deal.

Goal reports that Fabregas is keen to win over those behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge and sign a new deal.

However, should that plan fail, Fabregas has reportedly tasked his representatives with the job of finding him a new club.

The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and will be free to discuss a pre-contract agreement in January.

Milan have been heavily linked with a move for the player in the past and reports suggest that the San Siro could be an option during the January window.

The Spaniard has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge as a result of both the summer arrivals of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic as well as his own personal injury problems.

The former Barcelona midfielder is now considered as a back-up to Jorginho, who is one of the first names on the teamsheet under Maurizio Sarri.
