Sarri confirms Chelsea duo have been passed fit to play in Vidi clash

Maurizio Sarri has confirmed that Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Pedro are both in contention to feature in Thursday night’s Europa League fixture.

Both players are expected to play some part against MOL Vidi at Stamford Bridge in the second group game.

The Italian head coach is set to ring the changes to his squad after a busy run of games recently.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, as reported by West London Sport, Sarri hinted ‘maybe it’s time’ for Loftus-Cheek to feature.

Loftus-Cheek has found game time hard to come by under Sarri this season, with the midfielder also struggling with injuries.

He missed out on the chance to face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup and will now be looking to make up for lost time.

Pedro is also likely to make his return after suffering a shoulder injury against PAOK in the previous round of fixtures.

The Spaniard has not featured since the clash and could get some minutes under his belt in the Europa League once again.
