Chelsea quartet get Spain call-up

Chelsea quartet Kepa Arrizabalaga, Alvaro Morata, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso have all been named in the latest Spanish squad.

The Spanish Football Federation have confirmed that the four players are in Luis Enrique’s latest squad, but there is no place for former Blues striker Diego Costa, who has been left out.

Spain face Wales and England over the course of the next international break, as the UEFA Nations League continues.

Kepa, Alonso and Azpilicueta have all been regulars for Chelsea this season and were expected to be named in the squad.

However, Morata is likely to be considering himself fortunate to make the cut after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge.

The former Real Madrid man has lost his place as the number one striker at Chelsea and has been forced to find minutes in the Carabao Cup and the Europa League since the previous international break.
