Chelsea will reportedly rival a host of Italian clubs for a deal to sign Brescia youngster Sandro Tonali.
According to reports in Italy, Inter, Roma, Milan and Juventus are all interested in the midfielder, who is being dubbed as ‘the next Andrea Pirlo’.
The 18-year-old midfielder has drawn comparisons to the former Italian international both in looks and in his style of play.
Like Pirlo in his younger years, Tonali plays his football for Brescia in Serie B and his performances are not going unnoticed by some of Europe’s elite.
The promising young midfielder came through the ranks at Brescia and is already being tipped for big things in Italy.
While the Italian clubs in the running are likely to be considered favourites to sign him, Chelsea have never hidden their intention to scour Europe far and wide for some of the best emerging talents.
