MLS teams to rival Milan in January deal for Fabregas

Teams from the MLS are expected to rival Milan in the race to sign Cesc Fabregas from Chelsea.

According to reports in Italy, teams from the MLS are interested in signing the Spaniard, who is facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge.

Milan have been heavily linked with a move to sign the former Barcelona man as he reaches the latter stages of his contract at the club.

Fabregas’ current deal at Chelsea expires in the summer and it is considered unlikely that he will be offered a new deal.

The midfielder has been forced to settle with a back-up role under Maurizio Sarri, with game time hard to come by.

Fabregas has been used in a deeper role, replacing Jorginho in the cup competitions.

While the midfielder’s range of passing makes him the best suited for the role, there are still concerns over his physical ability for the position in the latter stages of his career.
