Davide Zappacosta’s time at Chelsea could be about to come to an end as it has been revealed that Napoli are considering making a move for him in January.
The 26-year-old joined Chelsea in August 2017 for around €28m but he’s been little more than an afterthought for both Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian international is certainly behind Cesar Azpilicueta in the pecking order in terms of Chelsea right-backs, whilst it looks like Sarri would rather use Victor Moses there too, so game time looks like it will be limited for Zappacosta.

As per reports in Italy, Napoli are in the market for a new right back and Zappacosta is on their shortlist of targets, along with Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico, SPAL’s Manuel Lazzari and Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian.
Earlier this year, Zappacosta admitted that he could look for a move back to Italy if he wasn’t going to get regular game time and with just one league appearance to his name so far this season, he could push for a January transfer.
