Roma may be about beat the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool in the race to sign breakout star Krzysztof Piatek.
According to Corriere dello Sport, as cited on SportMediaset, Roma’s sporting director Monchi has reached an initial agreement with the striker’s agent with interest in the player mounting.
Bayern, Dortmund, Chelsea, Liverpool and Juventus have all been linked with the player in recent weeks.

Piatek has dominated the headlines in Italy after his brilliant start to the season with Genoa.
The forward is currently leading the race for the Capocannoniere in Serie A with nine goals in his opening seven games
Genoa have played down the chances of the player leaving during the January window but are reportedly demanding a fee in the region of €35 million.
Maurizio Sarri is reportedly keen to bring the player to London as he looks to reinforce his front line for the second half of the season.
